Blazon, Irish style: Sable, a sun in splendour Or in the dexter chief, and a dexter hand couped at the wrist proper pointing thereto in the sinister base, and per chevron Argent three brach hound’s heads couped Azure, 1 and 2.
Blazon: Party per chevron Sable and Argent, in the dexter of the chief a sun in splendour Or, pointed from the sinister by a dexter hand couped at the wrist, bendwise proper, in base three Brach hounds’ heads couped Azure, 1 and 2.
Motto: «Di Droimíní e Delle Alpi» Sable, with initial letters Gules, over a scroll Argent.
Design rationale: These arms were created for the descendants of Christopher Joseph Parnell Brady and Estella Amelia Arigho. The design is rooted in the traditional Brady Arms, including those recorded by the Ulster King of Arms in Dublin, while the hound’s head draws inspiration from the Arms of Caneggio, represented as Azure with a brach hound’s head couped Argent, but with the tinctures exchanged, painting Azure where it was Argent and vice versa. The number three holds dual significance: it symbolizes three generations tracing back to the Drumlins of County Cavan on the Brady side and three generations leading to the Alps, the chevron, represented in the Arigho lineage by the azure field. Finally, the snow-capped Alps are represented by the chevron Argent.
