This is the coat of arms of Danny B. Warner, designed by both him and me, and emblazoned by me. We designed this coat of arms in three stages: 1) he wrote a short autobiography, 2) I proposed a design based on my analysis of his autobiography, and 3) we refined it together to reach the final design.
Blazon: Sanguine, a cross potent cantoned of crosslets between four compass roses, 2, 2, and on a base embattled Argent two hands clasped, the dexter Carnation the sinister Brown, both vested Sanguine.
Crest: Upon a helm with a wreath Argent and Sanguine, on an open book Argent, garnished Sanguine, two film strips fesswise Sable, with frames Argent.
Mantling: Sanguine doubled Argent.
Motto: «Fido · Espero · Bonfarado» Sable over a scroll Argent doubled Sanguine.
Design rationale: The motto is in Esperanto: Fido, Espero, Bonfarado, translating to Faith, Hope, Charity in English, and the open book with two films fesswise represents his degrees and work in History, Librarianship, Film production and acting in short films (both narrative and documentary).
Note: His helm is personalized with a compass rose, this kind of detail is not part of the blazon of the coat of arms.
