Male rainbow stag beetle proper

A male rainbow stag beetle palewise proper.

A male rainbow stag beetle palewise proper has been depicted by me as preparatory artwork for the coat of arms of Paul Lindsay from Queensland, Australia. His coat of arms features a male stag beetle palewise Argent in the base. I selected the male rainbow stag beetle (Phalacrognathus muelleri) as it is a species of stag beetle indigenous to northern Queensland.
